Why do they support the project “Acting against Noma”?

Roger Milla

After succeeding on and off the football field, the man also known as the “old lion” now devotes his life to causes that are truly close to his heart, and for which he fights with ardour and passion.

When Roger Milla meets survivors of Noma disease, he realizes the full extent of this devastating disease, which affects the youngest children in the world’s poorest areas.

Saddened by this harsh reality, but also frustrated to see a disease so easily curable still ravaging thousands of lives today, he committed himself in their name and founded Noma Fund.

Alongside other football legends, he hopes to make a difference, to bring this much-needed visibility to Noma disease, and finally to eradicate it once and for all.

François Omam-Biyic

For a long time, François Omam-Biyic has put his fame and media exposure at the service of great causes, for which he spares no effort and multiplies his appearances.

In 2019, the man who is rightly regarded as one of the best footballers of his generation, will join forces with Roger Milla and sponsor the Noma Fund association to fight against a disease he knows he could have been a victim of himself.

It is to help the most destitute in Cameroon and elsewhere that he dedicates his commitment to this cause that is close to his heart and that he hopes to finally see succeed.

Joseph-Antoine Bell

The former Girondin de Bordeaux’s goalkeeper is a man of conviction. Fervent defender of the humanitarian cause, also committed to fighting injustice of all kinds, Joseph-Antoine Bell supports the work of Noma Fund association.

When he became aware of the cause of Noma, he discovered a disease that was both tragic and, above all, curable. This is why he is actively engaged in the fight against this plague.

By getting personally involved in Noma Fund, he hopes to give the least privileged children the best chance of escaping Noma disease and living in respectable conditions.
